The Legend of Herb and Lou

Legendary guys. Legendary drinks.

One never can tell what they’ll find when poking around in an old safe. This time, we got really lucky, thanks to our grandfathers. 

It was inside an old safe that bail bondsman Herb used, in a dusty basement, that we found a weathered notepad with a collection of cocktail recipes. Herb and his good friend Lou had invented these cocktails and served them to friends, family, and fellow adventurers whenever they got the chance. They traveled everywhere, first for the military, as an army medic and a navy mechanic, and then pleasure, collecting the finest natural ingredients from around the world. Their cocktails were delicious and fabled… and that’s not even the cool part.

Herb and Lou liked to enjoy a party but didn’t like getting stuck mixing drinks all night. They would throw together a batch of mixers beforehand (without the booze) and freeze them in ice cube trays. During the party, Herb could deal the cards while Lou kept the Hi-Fi tuned, and all anyone needed to do was pour a splash of booze into a shaker with a couple of the frozen mixer cubes and voila…a Brilliantly Crafted Cocktail. It turned everyone into a Master Mixologist with just a shake or a stir. They were known to say: “Spend less time mixing, more times cheers-ing.” The idea became a part of family tradition.

Decades later, we (Herb and Lou’s grandsons) brought them back to life and called them Infused Cubes.

Herb & Lou's Infused Cubes can be used with a single spirit for an easy, delicious cocktail or mocktail, or used as an ingredient in an invention all your own.  Go ahead and be creative; Herb and Lou would have wanted it that way.  Cheers!
